This year, Elettrotec once again welcomed students from the Maxwell Institute for a work-based learning programme, involving them in a practical project: the design and development of a testing device for Elettrotec level switches.

With the support of the Elettrotec team, the students worked through the various stages of the project, from defining the electrical diagram and layout to selecting the components, assembling the device, resolving technical issues and preparing the technical documentation.

The result is a fully functional device capable of verifying the correct switching of the contacts and the grounding of the level switches, while accommodating different product types.

The project gave the students the opportunity to apply the skills acquired at school to a real industrial requirement.

For Elettrotec, it represented a valuable opportunity to bring education and industry closer together while supporting training, technical skills and the next generation.
